We envision a Harper District, where her citizens are empowered; A Harper District that is characterized by Civilization, Justice, Peace, Love, Prosperity and Stability.
We work towards a district, where her citizens can find hope in their government as they are empowered to achieve their fullest potential.
OUR OBJECTIVES
Development
We contribute to development of our district; encourage policies that will enhance the implementation of quality programs, ensure the sensible functioning district that will excel the stagnant years and make a change in the lives of the people of our district.
Rule of Law
Uphold, respect and protect the constitution of Liberia,
Give zero tolerance to human rights abuse and ensure the fundamental rights of all people residing in the district. Give zero tolerance to ritualistic killing.
Community Development
Support district development agenda to ensure a functioning government sector create an environment where residents will decide their development agenda
Work with relevant authorities to support sports and recreational activities.
Transperancy & Accountability
Promote accountability and transparency in all its aspects Work with all government structures, both national and local, ensuring people have access and rights to basic social services
Economic Development
Protect investments and promote free market economy, Encourage a strong private sector for job creation and stimulate the public sector for wealth creation Link the youth with skills training opportunities to give them livelihood through empowerment.
