Office of Rep. P. Mike JURRY DONATES 100 pieces of Arm Chairs to Tobyville Public School in Harper

Harper District Representative Hon. P. Mike Jurry has donated 100 pieces of armchairs to the Tobyville Public School in Harper, as part of his continued efforts to support quality education and improve the learning environment for students.

Speaking on behalf of Representative Jurry, Augustine Hinneh said the donation, valued at approximately US$2,000, is intended to address the school’s shortage of adequate sitting capacity.

He urged the school administration and students to properly care for the chairs and ensure they are used strictly for their intended purpose. Hinneh said the gesture is also in line with the government’s ARREST Agenda, which identifies education as a key national priority.

Meanwhile, Hinneh commended the school’s administration and teaching staff for their dedication to shaping future generations and providing quality education.

Receiving the donation, Principal Albertine Sceres expressed appreciation to Representative Jurry for providing the chairs and for his continued support to the institution.

She said inadequate seating has been one of the major challenges confronting the school, adding that the donation will significantly ease the burden on both students and teachers and create a more conducive environment for learning.

Principal Sceres assured the lawmaker’s office that the chairs will be properly maintained and used for their intended purpose to ensure they serve the students for a longer period.
